"JOSÉ OUBRERIE HAS DRAWN THE PLANS. PARIS, 21st 1964. L-C"

José Oubrerie worked with Le Corbusier in the Rue de Sèvres between the end of 1957 and 1965. He has given us the opportunity to get to know the inside of the studio with Le Corbusier, based on his own personal experience as well as the subsequent events that define his concept of what is architecture. Given that his work conditions are so special, it is convenient to draw a portrait of his long career in a direct and flexible manner, without parting from the academic rigour which surrounded it. Demanding, incisive, tireless, and thankful, Joseph leaves us with moments and thoughts that are truly valuable, merry, and sometimes bitter. The fundamental lesson we should learn is that it is the duty of the architect to assume his responsibility to society; to experiment and to work so that in the end poetry is victorious
